RF Connectors & OTA Stations

The primary way to get the over the air (OTA) signals to your television is via the RF connector. Alternately you could use an external tuner, but it adds complexity to your AV system. Also the RF input on your TV can be used for digital cable instead of using a cable box. A common repair we perform is replacing the RF connector on your TV tuner. From the manufacturer the RF connector is crimped on. Our technicians are able to replace the RF connector on your tuner. We will solder a new connector that has a Teflon insulator.
